In a parallel universe much like our own, it was the year 1870 and humanity was still largely confined to the surface of the earth. But two men, each with their own unique talents and passions, were about to make a discovery that would change everything.

The first was Jules Verne, the brilliant inventor and adventurer who had always been fascinated by the mysteries of the sea. The second was Private Collector N, a half-human, half-machine explorer with an insatiable thirst for knowledge and a love of collecting.

Verne was on an expedition in the North Atlantic when he spotted a strange object in the water - something unlike anything he had ever seen before. As he drew closer, he realized that the object was not an object at all, but a massive, octopus-like creature with shimmering scales and glowing eyes.

Verne was equal parts fascinated and terrified by the creature, but he knew that he had to try and make contact with it. Through a series of gestures and signals, he was able to communicate with the creature, and was shocked to discover that it was highly intelligent and had its own civilization deep beneath the ocean's surface.

Meanwhile, Private Collector N had been using his time machine to explore different worlds and time periods, searching for rare and valuable items to add to his collection. He had always been fascinated by the mysteries of the deep sea, and had spent many years studying and exploring the world's oceans.

As fate would have it, N's time machine brought him to the same time and place as Verne, just as the two men were making contact with the deep sea creature. N was amazed by the creature's intelligence and creativity, and was eager to learn more about its culture and way of life.
